Task Work Mode Reference

This page describes the workMode object returned by the List Robot Work Modes API (POST /openapi/v3/tasks/fusion/work-modes/list): its complete configuration structure, the meaning of each field, and all currently known work mode enumerations. Different product lines support different mode combinations.

Field Correlations

• type=0 (cleaning task): configType=strength, hasStrength=true, defaultStrength is one of low/middle/high, subTaskEnabled=true.
• type=5 (work task: inspection, power wash): configType=fixed, hasStrength=false, strengthOptions=[], defaultStrength="", subTaskEnabled=false.

Work Mode Enumerations

The enumerations below are aggregated from the current task service configuration and cover all known values. mode and subType currently share the same values.

Cleaning Tasks (type=0)

vacuuming	Vacuum	Pure vacuuming, suitable for carpets and similar scenarios
dust_push	Dust Push	Dry dust-mopping with a dust mop pad
roller_dust_push	Roller Dust Push	Dust pushing with a roller brush
silent_dust_push	Silent Dust Push	Low-noise dust pushing for noise-sensitive scenarios
aromatherapy	Aromatherapy	Releases fragrance while moving; no wet cleaning
disinfectant	Disinfection	Sprays disinfectant for sanitization

Work Tasks (type=5)

Work modes are configured per robot product line. The table above is the full enumeration; the modes actually supported by a specific robot are those returned by its List Robot Work Modes API. For example, sweeper product lines typically return sweep and inspect, while scrubber product lines typically return wash, dust_push, and inspect.

Gear Enumerations

strength	Name	Description
low	Gentle	Gentle cleaning; faster and quieter, for lightly soiled areas
middle	Standard	Standard cleaning (the default for most modes)
high	Strong	Strong cleaning for heavily soiled areas

Gear levels apply only to modes with configType=strength. strengthOptions is the subset of levels actually selectable for the mode, and defaultStrength is used when strength is omitted.

fixed	Fixed configuration	hasStrength=false; no levels; strengthOptions=[] and defaultStrength=""; inspection and power wash fall into this category

Usage Example

When creating a Combined Task or schedule, workMode references an object returned by List Robot Work Modes:

• id + mode (+ subType) together locate a work mode; when id is empty, matching by mode alone is sufficient.
• When strength is omitted, the mode's defaultStrength is used; a provided value must be one of strengthOptions.
• Fixed-configuration modes (configType=fixed, e.g. inspect, strong_wash) do not accept strength.
